WHAT IS PROFHILO?

Profhilo is an anti-aging agent, which when injected into the skin, integrates with the tissues to improve texture and elasticity. Your skin feels more hydrated and you will see significant improvements in its tone and texture. 

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Profhilo is made from Hyaluronic acid which we have in our body. When injected into the skin, it acts as a remodeling agent, attracting water and stimulating both elastin and collagen. This boosts your skin making look more hydrated , and reducing visible signs of aging such as fine lines , hollowing and loose skin 

WHAT ARES CAN BE TREATED?

It is mainly used on the face and neck however currently trials are being carried out on the décolletage area, hands and limbs.

HOW LONG WILL IT LAST?

There are two initial treatments one month apart then the recommendation is a top up every year. 

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

Generally these are minimal. Redness , bruising and swelling can occur at the injection points. Serious complications such as hitting a nerve or blood supply are rare.
