  • How do dermal fillers work?

    A dermal filler is an injectable gel made from a naturally occurring sugar called hyaluronic acid. It provides skin with volume and hydration, when placed below the skin surface it will 'plum up' the structures.


  • Do dermal filler injections hurt?

    Very fine needles are used to inject dermal fillers and it's generally tolerated very well. Simple techniques such as applying ice before the procedure and offering topical anaesthesia can help reduce discomfort further.


  • Are dermal fillers safe?

    Dermal fillers have been used for many years and are generally well tolerated, while you may experience no side effects at all, some can occur. These include injection site redness, pain, swelling, bruising, itchiness and discolouration. These effects are generally temporary and should resolve within one week.


  • When will I see results?

    Results can been seen almost immediately, however , the best effect is usually seen at 2 weeks.


  • How long do dermal filler injections last?

    On average people tend to experience the benefits of dermal filler injections for up to 9 months.


  • How much do dermal fillers cost?

    The cost of one dermal fillers syringe is $650 (+ GST) but your fee will depend on your specific needs and how many syringes are needed.
