EXCESSIVE SWEATING TREATMENTS

For some people, antiperspirants are not effective enough to deal with excessive sweating. The use of Botox® injections in the area of excessive sweating can inhibit the muscles surrounding the sweat glands and therefore reduce sweating. This method has been found to be particularly effective in the under arm area. Don’t be concerned, the sweat is not directed elsewhere, it is simply not produced to such a severe degree.

Severe sweating is actually a medical condition that is caused by overactive sweat glands. While sweating is a necessary bodily function, it can at times exceed the body’s natural requirement for cooling, resulting in sometimes embarrassing results.

Our doctor is available to assess your sweating problems and will be able to help you chose the best way forward in treating this issue. Please contact us to arrange a consultation to get you on track to feeling more confident and content with your body.
